Phillip Island, Victoria Australia, Penguin Parade Visitor Center Opens 4 Months early!

July 27, 2019

Great news for penguin lovers of the world!

Phillip Island’s NEW Penguin Parade Visitor Center has opened, and four months early!

In line with the Phillip Island Nature Park’s commitment to conservation, the facility is fitted with more than 600 solar panels on its roof and will have zero single-use plastics in the entire premises.

The striking design is a sure attraction but look at all the new benefits with the new venue:

1.) Well-compiled educational resources

2.) Enhanced wildlife viewing area

3.) Its new dedicated VIP tour welcome area

4.) With the new venue, the project returns 6.7 hectares (16.5 acres) of natural habitat to the penguin colony. In the picture below, you can see the full visitor center with a bird’s eye view.

Phillip Island and the Penguin Parade Visitor Center, is easily accessible on a day tour from Melbourne, in Victoria, Australia. It is a wonderful way to make a day of it and at the same time see penguins, the most remarkable of sea birds.

I highly recommend doing the Phillip Island Ranger Led Adventure tour through Melbourne Private Tours. This gives you the best seats, with the fewest people around you, to view the penguins. Your entire tour is with well trained staff and guides. The Phillip Island Ranger Led Adventure tour of Phillip Island also has you learn and see about koalas as well as experience one of the largest Australian Fur Seal colonies in the country.

It is a day full of the best of Australia, all with a new center!
